Why weren't these men apprehended for trying to attack the submarine with their toy cannons? Nobody seemed to be worried about them. Not even the coast guard

You know i have to like the video, I always salute any vet and active ship or aircraft, but there is one complaint with your camera skills. You make me sea sick with all the camera movement. Either use a tripod or at least quit sweeping the camera around and up and down. Makes my stomach feel like I am in a North Atlantic storm on a small tin can.

I am surprised that they are allowed to shoot that cannon when the sub comes through. Having watched numerous boomers transiting Hood Canal, I know that you could never get away with that there.

Boy things have changed. Spent years on the river in three SSN-637 Class. We rarely if ever used the tugs to assist in a landing or underway. My first CO, Commander S.A.White later made four stars - and he had confidence in our skills so as to not use a tug with its inherent risks. Living in the Osvific NW all my 75 years, I have nothin* but respect for our navel services, especially the Coast Guard. I doubt many people know of the many services of the Coast Guard. But those who go to sea surely do, commercial, civilian, even navy craft.

I was on an outbound ferry out the harbor and I might have seen this sub coming in the other day. Same setup but with navy boats. Awesome video none the less.

man oh man, look at those guys standing topside in their dress whites, getting brought home by a cannon. fancy fancy. got to be honest with you, I'm kind of glad the line handlers didn't have to wear their dress whites on my boat. the cat is awesome, but it probably would have scared the crap out of the Marines on Delta Pier.
